Every year, Bentley Systems commemorates the best projects and 2015 saw another spectacular event held in London, UK.
The Be Inspired awards honor the extraordinary work of Bentley users improving the world’s infrastructure. The event featured informative industry forums about sustaining and advancing the world’s infrastructure, interactive workshops and a series of thought-provoking keynotes and these were presented throughout the week by industry thought leaders. Women in engineering and infrastructure were a highlight of the week. The finalists from various industries were introduced and the winners were announced at the gala dinner.
At the ceremony and gala, 18 Be Inspired Awards winners and five Be Inspired Special Recognition Awards winners were acknowledged. In addition, Bentley’s Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to J.P. (Peter) Blake, Director, Project Delivery Group for Hatch.
Three finalists from 18 different industries, media from around the world, industry specialists and Bentley Systems representatives all gathered to celebrate magnificent projects at the Be Inspired Awards ceremony. All the finalists’ projects were designed using Bentley Systems software.
Ten independent panels of jurors, specialists from their industries, selected 18 winners from 54 project finalists. The finalists had been chosen from over 360 submissions from 66 countries.
One of the categories was ‘Innovation in Mining’ and the three finalist companies were Tetra Tech Proteus, CCTEG Beijing Huayu Engineering, and Changsha Design and Research Institute of Nonferrous Metallurgy.
