International country pavilions provide investment opportunities for the mining and construction industry.

Elaine Crewe, CEO of MMI South Africa, hailed the nine international country pavilions at the inaugural Bauma Africa 2013 “a success.” She added that “They give international companies a chance to showcase their products and services to the African market, and give the local exhibitors a chance to do introduce theirs to the international market.

“They also facilitate the possibility of business relationships between local and international companies, and increase the possibility of foreign investment into the local construction, mining and manufacturing sectors.”

The German pavilion, featuring more than 50 companies, is the largest German pavilion to be showcased at any Bauma event. The pavilions for China, Finland, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Spain and Korea have also been attracting much attention from visitors and other exhibitors.

“We are excited about these international country pavilions, and have attracted visitors from as far as the USA, Singapore and France,” concludes Crewe.
